PALAKKAD: Y.P. Singh, Palakkad Divisional Railway Manager, inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week observance of the Palakkad Railway Division here on Wednesday. He administered the ‘Vigilance Awareness and Anti-Corruption’ pledge to officers and staff of the divisional office. Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed by Indian Railways from November 3 to 7, 2008. The purpose is to create awareness among the rail users of the initiative for improvement of the system and procedure, especially the complaints handling policy, including the avenues available for redressal of grievances, Mr. Singh said. All efforts are being taken to educate the customers on how to make complaints during the week.
