HC stays TNHA ‘executive panel’ meeting
CHENNAI: The Madras High Court has restrained till November 7 A. Chelladurai Abdulla from holding the “improperly convened meeting of the dubiously claimed” executive committee of the Tamil Nadu Hockey Association on October 25 at Coimbatore and from making any claims interfering in the affairs of the Tamil Nadu Hockey Association to any authority.
In his order on the applications filed by the Tamil Nadu Hockey Association, represented by its honorary secretary K. Jothikumaran, in a civil suit, Justice P.R. Shivakumar also restrained by an interim injunction Mr. Abdulla’s men and agents from interfering in the affairs of the association.
The court ordered notice on the applications. Private notice was also permitted.
The applications have been posted for November 7. — Special Correspondent
