Budensab SHIMOGA: Budensab of Shikarlkoppa in Shikaripur taluk, who was adjudged a talented boy in his school, has become speechless, which has eventually made him bedridden too. He was active in academic and sports activities in his school. But now he faces an uncertain future. Studying at the Government Composite Junior College at Shiralkoppa in Shikaripur taluk, Budensab hails from a poor family. PerformanceGoing by his academic performance, his teachers expected that he would get distinction in the SSLC examination to be held in March 2009. During Dasara vacation, Budensab was playing volleyball at the Government Urdu Primary School ground near his house, when he fell down and got injured seriously. But there was some change in his movement when he tried to wake him up in the morning the next day. Even after 10 a.m., he could not come out of his room. This became a cause for concern for his parents. ShockSoon, they were in for a shock when their son could not recognise them. After initial treatment, there was a slight improvement in his health. But Budensab was rendered speechless thereafter. Budensab’s father Mohammad Sab is yet to recover from the shock. “A talented boy is now bedridden,” he said. He has requested the Health Department to come to the rescue of his son.
