It will be held at Palace Grounds in Bangalore from November 20 to 23 Bangalore: Chinnara Habba, the annual children’s festival, is back in Bangalore. The festival at Palace Grounds, from November 20 to 23, packs in loads of shopping options and entertainment programmes. Over a 100 trade stalls, games, a range of competitions, adventures, talent hunt and other events will be part of the festival. The drawing competition on November 21 this year is unique as it will be on the theme of communal harmony. Open for students from Standards V to VII, registration for this contest is done through schools. JudgesThe dance competition will be conducted in traditional, folk, western, film and other innovative forms. Competitors will be judged by eminent personalities from the film fraternity and performing arts. Other competitions include a talent show, adventure zone and ramp walk for children below 12 years of age along with their mothers. Special bookletAs part of the festival, a special booklet that contains lots of interesting information and fun-filled activities will be freely distributed to government, government-aided and private educational institutions, according to the organisers of the festival.
