KOCHI: Defending champion Kerala and Tamil Nadu notched up easy wins for the second successive day and were on course for semifinal berths in the eighth all-India BSNL basketball tournament being played here. On Tuesday, Rahul Krishna, Vijobi Vakkachan and Manzoor Ahmed were in fine nick as Kerala thrashed Andhra Pradesh 103-32, while Tamil Nadu defeated Punjab 76-41 in league games. In contrast, Karnataka was forced to sweat and pulled off a one-point victory over Chhattisgarh. Yaseen Peeran Peerzade, with 33 points, was the star for Karnataka while Viswambhernath Pandey (37 points) led Chhattisgarh’s tally. The results (league): Group ‘A’: Andhra Pradesh 31 (A.
