Bhoomi Pooja

Hosur: Bhoomi Pooja for a music school was held in Hosur on Monday. The pooja was held in the 3.25 acres of land allotted by the district administration at Hosur-Thali Road near Andhiwadi Stadium.

K. Gopinath, MLA, allocated Rs. 7.5 lakhs for the project from his constituency fund.

Mr. Gopinath told The Hindu that a community hall with toilet facility for the music school will be built in 2400 square feet. The school will be upgraded as a music college in a phased manner in the years to come, he added.

Mr. S. Nagarajan, Sub-collector, Hosur, Mr. Gopinath and other officials participated in Bhoomi Pooja function.
