Rally held to collect funds for Tamils in Sri Lanka

KRISHNAGIRI: Hosur municipal administration organised a rally in Hosur town to collect funds for displaced Tamils in Sri Lanka on Monday. S.A. Sathya, Commissioner, led the rally. To show their solidarity with Tamils in Sri Lanka, the public took part in large numbers in the rally. School children, college students also participated in the rally enthusiastically.The rally, which started near the municipality, went through Bagalur Road, M.G. Road, Nethaji Road. Municipal Engineer Mr. Alphonse and Councillors, cutting across party lines, donated liberally for the cause. More than 200 people participated.
