Rashtriya Karigar Panchayath at Adilabad

Hyderabad: Over a 1,000 craftsmen and artisans from 20 States are all set to participate in the ‘Rashtriya Karigar Panchayath’, a three-day national artisan’s meet organised by Sewagram Ashram at Adilabad district from November 11.

The event will provide a platform for all the participants to showcase their talents and will also be a learning experience for them.

They will also have a chance to interact with others craftsmen from different States. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Chairman of Rashtriya Karigar Panchayath, Basanth Kumar said, apart from exhibiting various crafts and art, the meeting will have discussions on problems being faced by artisans.

Moreover, there will be talks on economic, social and political and use of technology in handicrafts. and the various schemes introduced by the government for their benefit
