Financial assistance to injured cadres

CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa on Monday announced financial assistance to party cadres who, she said, were injured in an attack on October 30 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pasumpon Muthramalinga Thevar.

In a statement here she said that the five party men, who were grievously injured, would be given Rs.15,000 each and the other four, Rs.6,000. — Special Correspondent
