Young World Painting contest

CHENNAI: The annual Young World Painting Competition will be held on November 30. The competition will be held for students in two categories – juniors (classes IV to VII) and seniors (classes VIII to X).

For the preliminary round, contestants need to draw on one of the following topics - Junior category: Sports day, In the zoo, Flying kites, Birthday party.

Senior category- Watching a stage play, on a hill station, bandh/strike day, environment day.

Students should get their entries certified by the principal or art teacher and sent it to the Regional General Manager (Circulation), The Hindu, Kasturi Buildings, 859&860, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600 002. Candidates chosen for the finals will be intimated through letters individually.

Last date for sending entries has been extended up to November 15.

The painting competition is presented by Lottee BooProo.
