TDP hires 1,000 buses for ‘Yuva Garjana’

Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam Party has hired nearly 1,000 APSRTC buses to mobilise and ferry its activists for the “Yuva Garjana” programme to be held in Guntur on Wednesday.
RTC authorities on Monday confirmed that over 500 buses were hired for operating from Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada regions to Guntur. The remaining buses were booked from other districts, including Ongole, Nellore, Khammam, Hyderabad, Mahabunagar, Nalgonda, etc.
Trains too
“Till Monday evening 1,000 buses were hired and we expect the number to go up by Tuesday afternoon,” he said. Apart from RTC buses, the TDP has already hired 23 trains from South Central Railway paying nearly Rs. 9.8 lakh per train.
