Drowned

Chennai: A 23-year-old man drowned in Puzhal Lake where he went for a swim on Saturday evening.

Police identified the victim as Afsar of Ambedkar Nagar, 2nd Street, Old Washermenpet. He had gone to visit his friends in Kavankarai and they decided to go for a swim in the lake. His body, which was recovered, later, was sent for autopsy, the police added.
