Introductory low fare on British Airways

HYDERABAD: British Airways announced a one-off introductory low fare to celebrate the launch of its services from Hyderabad to the UK at a very low price Rs. 90 (plus taxes and surcharges) and Hyderabad to 22 North American destinations for Rs. 990 (taxes and surcharges extra). The offer is valid for eight days, said a press release.

Bookings can be made from up to November 7, 2008 through www.ba.com or a travel agent. The fare is valid for the World Traveller (economy class) cabin and for travel from the airline’s first day of operation in Hyderabad -- December 7, 2008 up to January 31, 2009; inbound until March 2009.

British Airways’ Area Commercial Manager for South Asia Amanda Amos said, “We have plenty of seats available. We recognise that Hyderabad has a fast growing economy and our convenient connections to London and 22 destinations in North America make travel to these two important markets easy for both the business and leisure traveller.” British Airways will be operating five flights a week from Hyderabad to London taking British Airways to 48 weekly flights from six cities in India to the UK.
