Sub-Inspector injured

A Sub-Inspector of Police was injured when she was knocked down by a speeding vehicle at Royapuram here Friday night. Police said Dhanalakshmi (30), attached to the Ennore police station, was returning home on a moped when the accident took place. She was admitted to Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital where her condition was said to be stable.
