311 applicants attend passport adalat

About 311 applicants attended the passport adalat organised by the Regional Passport Office here on Saturday. Five of the applicants were issued passports on the spot, while all the other eligible applicants would get the passports within a week, Regional Passport Officer S. Balachandran said. Applicants with deficiencies in their applications, were informed of the reasons and advised to rectify the problem.
