Jungle training for police personnel

A total of 38 police personnel attached to Tiruchi Rural district who underwent Jungle Training course a few months ago were given certificates at the office of the Superintendent of Police here on Saturday.

The police personnel from the rank of Constable to Sub Inspector were imparted training at the Pachamalai hills in Thuraiyur area on various aspects including ambush and counter ambush, camp defences, shoot-to-kill exercise, camouflage and concealment by the instructors from the Special Task Force. The training lasted two weeks.
