Clarify stand on Telangana: TRS

Staff Reporter

SANGAREDDY: TRS MLAs T. Harish Rao and S. Ramalinga Reddy on Saturday dared the ministers from the region to clarify their stand on Telangana.

“How the ministers can participate in Andhra Pradesh Formation Day celebrations when the region meted with injustice since last five decades?

They should clarify their stand on the separate state issue and whether they want to sail with people or with Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy,” said Mr. Harish Rao and Mr. Ramalinga Reddy while addressing a press conference here.

Referring to describing State formation as a sacrifice by Potti Sri Ramulu, the TRS leaders wondered how it was related to Telangana.

They dared the government for open debate on the issue. On the advertisements released by the government, the TRS leaders alleged that false propaganda was taken up by the government and history was wrongly quoted.
