Nanao in final

New Delhi: Thokchom Nanao Singh outpunched Frenchman Jeremy Beccu 14-4 to storm into the light-flyweight final in the inaugural AIBA World youth boxing championships at Guadalajara, Mexico.

The Services pugilist, a gold medallist at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, will now be up against last year’s cadet World Championship bronze medallist and Russian youth champion Grigoriy Nikolaychuk in the summit clash. — PTI
