Mumbai team post win
GURGAON: A goal each from Omkar Ghadigaonkar, Sheldon C. Fernandes and Lyndon Rodrigues helped MMK College of Commerce and Economics, Bandra, to a 3-2 victory over NCC Directorate, Jharkhand, in the inaugural match of the Nehru junior hockey tournament at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.
Basant Toppo and Pankaj Xalxo scored a goal each in the second half to reduce the margin for the Jharkhand team.
The Maharashtra team prevailed on the strength of its penalty corner conversion as it succeded in scoring two goals from five set piece drills. — Special Correspondent
