Chakyar koothu

KOZHIKODE: Forum for Promotion of Classical Arts, an endeavour of the students cultural committee of National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) would be inaugurated at the institute campus on Monday evening. The inaugural function would be followed by a performance by Painkulam Damodara Chakyar, renowned performer of chakyar koothu. He had won the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademy Award in 2006. —Staff Reporter
