Security beefed up at Agartala Airport

Agartala: Security was beefed up at the Agartala Airport following directives from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation, official sources said here on Saturday.

The AAI has sought the help of the State police in maintaining proper security of the airport, situated near the Indo-Bangla international border. All vehicles passing near the airport are being checked and a strict vigil is being maintained near the parking space. — PTI
