Director General of CISF retires

NEW DELHI: Ranjit Kumar Das, who took over as Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force on April 10 this year, retired from service on Friday after serving in police and paramilitary forces for over 38 years.

He had been decorated with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

A farewell parade was conducted in honour of Mr. Das at the Indirapuram Complex in the morning.
