International health fair

NEW DELHI: A four-day international health fair titled “Arogya-2008” opened at Pragati Maidan here on Friday.

Inaugurating the fair at Shakuntalam Theatre, Department of Ayush Secretary Anita Das said tremendous interest in the traditional system of medicines was being seen in the United States, Europe and South Asian countries.

“Even allopathic doctors and surgeons in these countries are showing a great deal of interest in the traditional system of medicines.”
