Liya shines for Choice School

KOCHI: Liya Sunny hogged the limelight as the host Choice School, Kochi, defeated Kodai International School 26-21 in a girls’ league match of the Choice Cup South Zone inter-school basketball tournament here on Friday.

Earlier, Jose Thomas, the President of the Choice Foundation, inaugurated the tournament.

The results (girls):

Choice School, Kochi 26 (Liya Sunny 10) bt Kodai International 21.

Chettinadu Vidyashram, Chennai 20 bt Mont Fort, Idukki 0.

Bishop Cotton School, Banglore 28 (A.S. Anchal 12, Merin Antony 12) bt Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Kochi 24.
