Manu, Sreejith hog the limelight

KOCHI: Bowlers M.T. Manu (four for 54) and K.R. Sreejith (three for 31) impressed as Pattara Swantons CC defeated Muthoot ECC ‘B’ by four wickets in a first phase match of the Maruti Homes 58th Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Friday.

The scores: Muthoot ECC ‘B’ (Ekm) 182 in 43.5 overs (Praveen Achuthan 41, M.T. Manu four for 54) lost to Pattara Swantons CC (Ekm) 184 for six in 27.2 overs (Sunil Oasis 40, P.V. Manikandan 48).
