Railways team begins to arrive

Bangalore: The Railways team has begun arriving in batches for the Ranji Trophy super league Group B match against Karnataka here from Monday.

Most of the Railways team practised at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday evening, while four more players are expected to join the squad during the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka team trained hard with coach Vijay Bharadwaj and consultant Ray Jennings keeping a close watch. The day ended with skipper Robin Uthappa, Bharadwaj and Jennings giving a pep talk to the players. — Principal Correspondent
