Appointed KPCC general secretary

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Minister M.A. Kuttappan has been appointed Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary. He replaces former MP Kodikunnil Suresh. AICC president Sonia Gandhi had nominated him. The post earmarked for a person belonging to the SC/ST community had been lying vacant for more than a year now since the elevation of Mr. Suresh as AICC secretary. — Special Correspondent
