Benefits for retiring MCD employees

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi Commissioner K. S. Mehra distributed terminal benefits to 119 retiree municipal employees who retired on Friday on attaining the age of superannuation.

The majority of these employees were paid terminal benefits including encashment of leave, gratuity and provident fund. Speaking on the occasion,

Mr. Mehra said the scheme of payment of terminal benefits was implemented from June 2008 and would be continued in future.
