KOCHI: A memorandum of understanding will be signed by the Italian Farmer Movement Coldiretti and Indian Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited (IOFPCL) for collaboration in agriculture development and marketing. The MoU will be signed during the international agri expo to be jointly organised here by The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE) and Foundation for Organic Agriculture and Rural Development, from October 31 to November 2. An international seminar and buyer-seller meet will be organised as part of the expo. Representatives of industries, business houses and members of agricultural farms can discuss about new ventures and business opportunities in agriculture, horticulture and other related opportunities. Shivdas Menon, president of TIE, said farming technology had changed a lot and the farmers should be aware of the new developments. The expo would offer an ideal opportunity for familiarising oneself with the latest developments. Farmers from various parts of the State would visit the expo.
