Water level

MADURAI: The water level in the Periyar dam stood at 128 feet (136 feet) with an inflow of 1,272 cusecs and a discharge of 1,556 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 66.40 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 1,818 cusecs and a discharge of 1,796 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 6,228 mcft.
