General Hospital to get new ward

Thiruvananthapuram: A hospital ward with modern intensive care facilities and equipment will be constructed at the General Hospital at Rs.3.5 crore utilising the tsunami rehabilitation fund as well as allocation from the National Rural Health Mission. Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy will lay the foundation for the facility on Friday. —Staff Reporter
