Gold coins missing

CHENNAI: Thirty gold coins kept in a safe were reported missing from a house on the Harrington Road in the city on Thursday.

Police said Basheer (40), a businessman, had lodged a complaint with the police, saying that the coins were found missing when he made a random check.

Enquiries revealed that a domestic help who was working in the house had absconded recently.
