ORR project cost enhanced

HYDERABAD: For the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road Project Phase IIB, the State government has issued orders approving the enhancement of project cost from Rs.2,700 crore to Rs.3,123.53 crore. The procurement process for balance packages from Shamirpet to Pedda Amberpet and engaging construction supervision consultant for them is to be initiated as item rate contracts through International Competitive Bidding soon after conclusion of second loan agreement with Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), according to the Municipal Administration and Urban Development G.O.744.

The ORR Phase IIB works have been divided into six contract packages, Patancheru to Mallampet (11.3 km), Mallampet to Dundigal (11 km), Dundigal to Shamirpet (15.7 km), Shamirpet to Keesara (10.3 km), Keesara to Ghatkesar (11 km) and from Ghatkesar to Pedda Amberpet (12 km).
