IOB’s Q2 net profit at Rs. 359 crore

CHENNAI: Indian Overseas Bank has registered a net profit of Rs. 359.02 crore in the three months ended September 30, 2008 against Rs. 319.70 crore in the same period in the previous year. Total income has risen by 26 per cent to Rs. 2,643.26 crore from Rs. 2,104.78 crore. Total business has registered an increase of Rs. 30,885 crore to Rs. 1,60,514 crore, says a release.
