Apollo Hospitals income, profit up

CHENNAI: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise has reported an income of Rs. 364.83 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, against Rs. 280.93 crore in the same period in the previous year, an increase of 30 per cent. The profit after tax has increased by 28 per cent to Rs. 30.13 crore from Rs. 23.58 crore. Income for the half-year ended September 30, 2008, has risen to Rs. 694 crore from Rs. 530 crore and the profit after tax to Rs. 59.40 crore from Rs. 53.55 crore.
