LUDHIANA: Qualifier Vishvesh Sinha scored a thrilling 7-5, 0-6, 7-6(9) victory over Mandeep Singh Gill in the under-18 boys final that lasted three hours and 14 minutes in the AITA Championship series junior tennis tournament at the Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, on Thursday. The results (finals): Boys: Under-18: Vishvesh Sinha bt Mandeep Singh Gill 7-5, 0-6, 7-6(9); Doubles: Mandeep Gill and Ankit Chopra bt Vishvesh Sinha and Tushal Thawani 6-3, 7-6(5). Under-16: K. Pradeep Reddy bt Tushal Thawani 6-3, 6-2; Doubles: Sourabh Raghuvanshi and Yuvraj Kumar bt Pankaj Kumar and Madhurjya Dutta 6-0, 6-2. Girls: Under-18: Mehak bt Ravnoor Kaur 6-2, 3-6, 6-0; Doubles: Mehak and Smriti Joon bt Harnoor Kaur Mann and Jaanesh Kaur 6-1, 6-0. Under-16: Ravnoor Kaur bt Rimpledeep Kaur 6-0, 7-5.
