Houston: White House contender Barack Obama gets jitters that his “white half” might stop short of voting for a black candidate on the election day. Mr. Obama, who is vying to become the first African-American President, however, is confident that white voters would not retract in the privacy of the booth. In an interview to satirical TV host Jon Stewart, Mr. Obama was asked if he worried that his “white half” might baulk at voting for a black candidate next Tuesday. “I won’t know what to do. It’s a problem,” said Mr. Obama, whose father is a Kenyan and mother a white American from Kansas. “I’ve been going through therapy to make sure I vote properly on the 4th,” he said. — PTI
