Hoardings, uni-poles to be regularised

HYDERABAD: The GHMC has decided to regularise all the unauthorised advertisement hoardings and uni-poles within its limits with a week and those failing to do so would be removed.

This was decided at the standing committee meeting presided over by Commissioner and Special Officer S.P. Singh on Wednesday. The Chief City Planner, B. Purushotham Reddy, will monitor the regularisation process.

The Additional Commissioner (Advertisements) B. Ramesh Kumar said the prescribed forms would be made available at all the Deputy Municipal Commissioners’ offices.

The panel has also agreed to rename the street from Malakpet Railway Station traffic junction to railway track to Dabeerpura flyover as Subedar Amir Ali Khan Road. Development of road from Bandlaguda Junction to Aramgarh junction and land compensation of Rs. 1.08 crore to six property owners were also sanctioned.
