Russian Consulate opened

Hyderabad: Assembly Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy and Ambassador of the Russian Federation to India, Vyachesla V I Trubnikov, formally inaugurated the Consulate of the Russian Federation in Hyderabad recently. Mr. Toghrille Peter Hassan was appointed as the Consul. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Trubnikov said that the consulate would strengthen existing relations between the two countries and described India as a steadfast and permanent friend.

Consul Toghrille Peter Hassan mentioned that the new Consulate would ensure that bilateral and cultural trade with the State would be its top agenda and priority.

Earlier, Vyachesla V I Trubnikov, Consul Toghrille Peter Hassan along with a high powered delegation from the Russian federation held a meeting with Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Mr. Reddy thanked the Russian Federation for setting up its Consulate .
