Young man run over by mini-bus

NEW DELHI: An unidentified young man was run over by a mini-bus on the Bus Rapid Transport Corridor at Ambedkar Nagar here on Wednesday.

According to the police, the man was crossing the road when the vehicle coming from Khanpur side hit him. While the victim died on the spot, the driver fled abandoning the vehicle there.

The police have registered a case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving and launched a hunt for the driver. Efforts are on to establish the identity of the deceased.
