Sri Lanka ‘A’ posts win

VISAKHAPATNAM: Sri Lanka ‘A’ defeated Andhra by 239 runs in a three-day match at the ACA-VDCA stadium here on Sunday.

The scores: Sri Lanka A 335 in 88 overs (Kaushal Silva 62, Angelo Mathew 53, Chamara Silva 52, K. Gunawardane 45, Israel Raju four for 52) and 164 for nine in 40 overs (Chamara Silva 51 n.o.) bt Andhra 106 in 43 overs (Angelo Mathew four for six runs) and 154 for six in 40 overs (A.S.K. Varma 55).
