BELLARY: The Kannada University at Hampi has condoled the death of ‘Nadoja’ Mudenur Sanganna, a well-known folklore scholar. At the condolence meeting held in the university campus, Dr. A. Murigeppa, Vice-Chancellor, Cheluvarju, D.K. Premakumar of the Folklore faculty, were among those to recall his contributions in the field of folklore and literature. He had written several plays, including “Chouvati chandra”, “Bangara tatte”, “Sheelavati” and “Soole Sankavva”. The university had awarded ‘Nadoja’, a honorary degree.— Staff Correspondent
