Nurturing talent from poor families

Bangalore: Aata Odanaata, a sports non-governmental organisation (NGO) which was founded with the aim of creating sports awareness among children from poor socio-economic group, hopes to work towards sports education, conducting sporting events and teaching basic health and hygiene to youngsters from rural schools, orphanages and city slums.

Aata Odanaata has tied up with Shikshana, an NGO which has adopted over 130 schools in Kanakapura taluk.

They are organising a 20-20 cricket event shortly for children from Kanakapura. The institution is also conducting an event this month for children in rehabilitation at Makkala Jagriti, a local NGO. For details, contact Ph: 9945602202 or send an email to aata.odanaata@gmail.com.
