Bangalore: A new Air India flight, AI 623, will leave Bangalore at 8.45 p.m. daily and land at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminal at 10.15 p.m. Air India passengers boarding the non-stop New York Flight AI 141 at 12.45 a.m. in Mumbai to reach New York at 7.10 a.m., can check in up to New York from Bangalore itself, for their entire journey, said a release. FormalitiesPassengers can also complete their customs and immigration formalities at the Bangalore airport and board the Airbus A321 flight to Mumbai where, upon arrival, they will be received and helped to board the non-stop flight to New York. Flight AI 141 is a new Boeing 777-200 long-range aircraft, the press release said. Air India promises passengers a host of other comforts on board. ComfortThe 195-seat Economy Class has a therapeutic footrest in front and the seats in the 35-seat Executive Cabin can be transformed into a 72-inch-long flat bed. The eight-seater First Class has been designed to offer the passenger comfort and luxury with exclusivity. For domestic passengers wanting to travel from Bangalore to Mumbai, an inaugural fare of Rs, 675 plus taxes (amounting to Rs. 4,000) is being offered by Air India on the new flight. This fare is available for bookings up to October 31, and travel up to November 30, 2008.
