BCCI to honour Tendulkar, Ganguly and Laxman

Special Correspondent

Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Venkatsai Laxaman are to be felicitated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at Nagpur on November 6.

Tendulkar crossed 12,000 runs in Test cricket in the second Test against Australia at Mohali, and Laxman is set to complete his century of Tests in the fourth and final Test against Australia. Ganguly would be making his last international appearance for India at Nagpur.

The BCCI is also likely to honour Tendulkar and Ganguly during the Platinum Jubilee Test match against England at the Brabourne Stadium, Cricket Club of India, in December. Early this year, the BCCI had presented a diamond-studded ball valued at Rs. 30 lakh to Anil Kumble for taking 600 Test wickets.
