Syntel third quarter revenue up 18 %

CHENNAI: Syntel, a global information technology services and knowledge process outsourcing company has reported a revenue of $103.90 million (Rs. 460 crore) for the third quarter ended September 30, 2008 against $87.9 million (Rs. 390 crore), a growth of 18 per cent. Its income from operations has expanded to 25.2 per cent from 19 per cent. Net income for the third quarter was $22.1 million (Rs. 98 crore) against $18.3 million (Rs. 81 crore) in the same quarter in the previous year, according to a release. — Corporate Reporter
