Train frequency increased

HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to run the Vasco-da-gama-Howrah Express train four days a week, from November 1, a release said.

Accordingly, Vasco-da-gama-Howrah Express Train (8048) will run from Vasco-end on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The Howrah-Vasco-da-gama Express Train (8047) will leave Howrah on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. However, the train 8048 will not run on November 2 (Sunday) for want of rake. It will run as per schedule on Tuesday (November 4), the release said. — Staff Correspondent
