Hike in wages of ZP staff

KOLAR: The part-time employees of zilla panchayat and computer operators working on contract basis will get more wages soon. The general body meeting of zilla panchayat, presided over by ZP president A.C. Nagarathna, took a decision to hike the wages of these employees. The meeting also adopted a resolution to open 1,000 anganwadi kendras. The meeting resolved to submit a proposal to the Government concerning the construction of a dam in Srinivaspur taluk for drinking water needs.
