Suspended

Tirupur: Two employees of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board were suspended for alleged misappropriation of cash to the tune of Rs. 7 lakh.

Official sources said that Selvaraj, a mazdoor, and Muniappan, a revenue supervisor, were placed under suspension after it was found during an inspection that they had swindled the amount by preparing bogus bills.
