Co-ordination meeting for ex-servicemen

SALEM: A co-ordination meeting for ex-servicemen in Coimbatore, Erode, Salem, Namakkal, Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts will be held at the Vijayaragavachariyar Hall here at 9.30 p.m. on November 2.

Major General E.J. Kochekkan, Colonel O.S. Yadav, Collector N. Mathivanan and senior officials would participate in the meeting.

Participants would discuss schemes such as ex-servicemen contributory health scheme, pension, employment opportunities, bank loans, army recruitment and higher education during the meeting, according to a release.

Ex-servicemen willing to participate in the meeting should register their name at the District Ex-servicemen Welfare Office or the ECHS polyclinic.

Prior registration is must for participation in the co-ordination meeting, the release said.
